During treatment, it may happen that things do not go as you had hoped or expected. You may disagree with certain matters or feel very dissatisfied. If this is the case, I encourage you to discuss your concerns with me directly. This way, we can try to resolve any problems or clarify possible misunderstandings.
If we are unable to reach a solution together, you can make use of my formal complaints procedure. I am affiliated with the NIP (Netherlands Institute of Psychologists). Complaints can be submitted to the Central Office for Complaints Management in Healthcare (CBKZ) via klachten@cbkz.nl or by registered mail: CBKZ, Antwoordnummer 570, 4200 WB Gorinchem, The Netherlands. Please use the official complaint form.
If mediation through this procedure does not lead to resolution, you may contact the Disputes Committee for Independent Mental Health Practices (Dutch website).
More information about my complaints and disputes procedure can be found here and here.
Because I have a Dutch complaints procedure, all information concerning this is also in Dutch. If you need help with translating or clarifying, please reach out to me.
