Exclusion criteria for treatment
In my practice, I can only treat complaints that are appropriate for a sole practicioner. Highly complex issues such as psychotic disorders, bipolar disorders, or severe personality and mood disorders, as well as eating disorders, are not treated here. These conditions typically require more than just psychotherapy.
I also cannot provide care for people who require 24/7 availability due to crisis sensitivity and/or severe suicidality, or who need (crisis) shelter, as my practice is not equipped for that.
In case of a crisis during treatment, please contact your GP or first healthcare provider, who can engage the mental health crisis team if necessary. In case of immediate danger, always call the emergency number (in Sweden 1-1-2).
If you are unsure whether your complaint can be treated, please contact my practice. Together we can determine whether I can help you or whether a referral to another facility would be more appropriate.
